Clean Cut Kid have revealed a new single 'Leaving You Behind', alongside news of their anticipated debut LP Felt, due 28 April via Polydor. The Mike Halls-lead four continue in their fiercely catching vein of rock-pop with this latest release, which ebbs and flows beautifully towards its typically infectious, 80s-inspired chorus, bringing to mind the work of label buddies Haim and fast-rising pop newcomers Muna. Of the newly announced LP, the band explain, "The concept of Felt is the timeline of a break-up from a relationship falling apart as you reach the end of the A side of the record; to flip into the B side where we emerge from the breakup and back into a new relationship." It's a cut that also comes with news of further UK tour dates, including shows with Michael Kiwanuka. -G.O'B
